Bread and butter. Amen to that.

You really can’t beat fresh bread and butter.
While I’ve never been a medical guinea pig, I was one paid to taste several frozen dinners.

I love your list. I’ve read 3 of your 4 recommended books and loved them, so I’m definitely going to have to read Midnight’s Children. You’ve traveled to some of my favorite spots in the world and I love your fav movies too.

I’ll be visiting Dubrovnik in about 2 months. It’s good to know it’s one of your favourite places 😀

Nothing not to love here! I just got back from Glasgow a few weeks ago and really loved Scotland — such a beautiful place.

@Jackie: My pleasure 🙂
@Ti: I know, right? You can’t go wring with bread and butter.
@cbjames: Mine is one of those stories to tell the grandchildren… Ask me about it if we ever meet in person 🙂
@Melissa: I’m not sure they’re my favorite movies (except ESoTSM, which is), but I can seen them countless times without being bored. Back to the Future… I have the feeling I saw it everyday when i was a kid.
@Mady: Dubrovnik is luuurvely. Be sure to wave to passing cruises when you’re in the castle walls.
@Meg: Glasgow is always a bit in the shadow of Edinburgh when it comes to picture-perfect beauty, but I prefer it. It has more attitude!

Good to see we share our fondness of several things… among them are mint tea, fresh bread with butter, Howards End (which I’m reading now, the movie is excellent), and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. As for The Painted Veil, I’ll have to say the book is much better than the movie… So, I’ll reread sooner than watch it again (albeit Naomi Watts is one of my faves.)
