Trish, Kailana and Lisa have come up with an interesting monthly meme – Where in the World Are You Reading – to get bloggers to share a piece of home. Each month will have a different theme.
This month: Waiting
October: Coffee Shop, etc.
Unlike previous times, I had no idea what to do for this month’s theme – “Waiting” – of Where in the World Are You Reading. So yesterday, with the deadline looming closer, I had to think fast and the first thing that came to mind was waiting for this baby to be born in mid-March.
While I wait, I read What to Expect When You’re Expecting.

Yes, I can see how waiting fits in your current situation — exciting and maddening, I bet!

I really liked that book. For when the baby is born, buy What to Expect… The First Year. And, of course, Dr. Spock’s Baby and Child Care 🙂

Just wait until you get to the last month…waiting takes on a whole new level of agony. And if you’re late? Each day feels like the entire pregnancy! (Sadly, I speak from experience.) But really, I can’t think of anything better to wait for than a baby…congratulations!!!

Congratulations!!!! Now that’s the BEST reason to be reading while waiting ever. 🙂
May I suggest you check out pregnancy, birth, and baby books by Dr. William Sears? They’re fantastic! He has other books, too.. including family nutrition and parenting books. Good stuff.
Enjoy your journey. 🙂

Congratulations, you sneaky bunny! I hated WTEWYE – it kept telling me terrible things about how everything I ever liked to eat/drink would (rumble of ominous music like in Gladiator, man with gravelly voice speaks) CROSS THE PLACENTA!!!!!! So I ignored it. I’d highly recommend Girlfriend’s guide to pregnancy by Vicky Iovine.
Still up for DD day?

Hi – I’ve not been blogging or reading blogs for a while so missed your news. Many congratulations! One piece of advice – get you reading done now as there won’t be much time once the little one arrives!
