I have no helpful comment, but I do like the colour co-ordination!

The Three Musketeers and The Sunne in Splendour are two of my favourite books, so I would recommend reading both of those! I haven’t read any of the others, though I did read another Daisy Goodwin book (The Fortune Hunter) and enjoyed it.

I would put The Whole-Brain Child on hold or at least just flip through the last few pages. I read the whole thing and wrote a blog piece if you want to get an overview. 🙂

I wouldn’t rush to get to the Daisy Goodwin – I read it earlier in the year and whilst it was fine, it wasn’t amazing.

I tried reading Birds Without Wings a few years ago but couldn’t make it past the first thirty pages. I have heard good things about Victoria, though.

I vote for Till We Have Faces! Then you can read it and tell me what to expect so I can read it also!

Marianne Fredriksson is always good. I love her books. I reviewed one; ‘Simon and the Oaks’ here http://thecontentreader.blogspot.be/2014/07/simon-och-ekarna-simon-and-oaks-by.html
A must read! I don’t know any of the other books.

I agree with Sam. The American Heiress was fine but nothing special.

I enjoyed Til We Have Faces a lot when I was young and when I re-read it as an adult. The Scottish Queens and Victoria books are ones I’d like to have on my shelves… 🙂

I read Till We Have Faces in college and liked it a lot then, but I remember nothing about it now. I pulled it out for a re-read last year. It’s in a TBR pile.
