Claire (The Captive Reader)
The Blitz and The Blind Assassin are both favourites of mine and the Marian Keyes is a great read, too.

I think The Blitz will be part of my 2015 effort to read more non-fiction! It’s been waiting for way too long.

Not too faimiliar with anything in your stack but you do have quite a bit of variety here. Happy reading!

King Hereafter! Though I do think you should read Gemini first. Though I know you don’t want to finish your Dunnett reading…
In which case, The Blind Assassin!

I think this will be the last Dunnett-firsts year 😦

I’m an Atwood fan, so I would start with her.

I have a lot of Atwood in my TBR. I’ve read 3 of hers before and decided to go through all her others.

In Other Worlds was really good. Very easy to read an essay a day or once a week. 🙂

I think it’ll be a good and short palate cleanser after a big book 🙂

Sharon Kay Penman and Margaret Atwood! This is a wonderful TBR!

I’ve never read Penman, but have 3 of her books in the TBR! I just have a good feeling about her. Maybe this year will be the year that I actually try her?!

I loved “The Blind Assassin” and also liked “The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay” a lot.

Alex
The Amazing Adventures was a recommendation from my brother. I previously read another from Chabon and was really disappointed, so only his raving about it made me want to try Chabon again so soon.

Oo, the Juliet Gardiner one! She’s the BEST. I read her enormous tome Wartime and just thought the world of it. Read the Blitz book!

I bought it because I’m really curious about the blitz, glad to know I was lucky and got a really good author!

Care
I agree with the recs for the Blind Assassin. I have Kavalier and Clay to read this year, I hope.
