Esme Lennox is a stunning book, one of my favourites of last year. You could read it as part of my Read Ireland month starting next week too 😉

I read The French Lieutenant’s Woman in university and really liked it.

I love that stack! Eleanor Rigby would probably be the first one I start with.

Whoa! I haven’t heard of any of these besides the Lemony Snicket. Kind of embarrassed now…
Whatever you pick, I hope it rocks.

I haven’t read any of these but now I want to revisit Lemony Snicket’s series…

(I have finally got out from under the sleeping baby for long enough to comment…) I would say the O’Farrell is worth special attention – I have really enjoyed 2 others of her books and have this one on the shelves so would be interested to see what you think of it!

Heard about Marian Keyes and Maggie O’Farrell of course. I think I have a book by the latter. I read – many years ago – The French Lieutenant’s Woman, but never understood or liked either the book or the film. Much ado about nothing if you ask me! Good luck!

I would love for you to read Eleanor Rigby for the purely selfish reason that I am deeply curious about it and would love to see your review!

Patience and Fortitude is perfect to dip in to over many sleepless nights. Have pagemarkers at hand to park even more obscure books to add to your list. I’ve read it twice and still reach for it.
